Permission to pause.
When did you last properly stop? Not to rest, catch up or scroll. Just stop, and think.
Most of us don't. We're too busy being competent. We keep going because stopping feels like falling behind.
Coaching, for me, is that pause. Time that's entirely yours, where nobody needs anything from you and you can think deeply without being interrupted, rushed or told what to do.
It's about self-discovery. Not just working out what you want, but who you want to be, at home and at work.
Because the question isn't really what do I want to do? or what do I want to be?
It's how do I want to be?
How do I want to show up for my children, my colleagues and myself? What does being fully me look like now? And what needs to change to get there?
I trained in Time to Think, and I believe people think best when they're truly listened to. I'm not there to fill the silence. I'm there to hold it, to ask the question that takes you a little deeper, and then to help you work out the practical steps to get where you want to be.
You don't need to be in crisis to deserve that space. You just need to give yourself permission to stop.
Coaching isn't therapy or medical care. If something needs clinical support, I'll say so and help you find it.
